2. Principles

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no third-party content when you visit it. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

3. Hosting and server logs

When you visit the website, our server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the referring page. This is required to deliver the website and keep it secure, for example to detect attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

4. Contact by email, phone and contact form

If you write to us or call us, we process your details (name, contact details, content of your enquiry) to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns a contract or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data from the contact form is transmitted encrypted and stored in our internal system. We delete it once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.

5. Map

On the contact page you can display a map of our offices. Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, Cambridge, United Kingdom) only after you click “Show map”; your IP address is then transmitted to them. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). An adequacy decision of the European Commission exists for the United Kingdom.

6. Job vacancies

Our job vacancies and applications are handled by HRDesk (nold.hr-desk.eu). The “Careers” link leads there; that service’s privacy notice then applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21).
